Summary: Seeking a CNC Programmer to create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for copper/aluminum busbar production ensuring safety, repeatability, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in CNC programming/nesting for sheet/plate or busbar (copper/aluminum preferred).
Proficiency with EHRT software suite and Amada programming (e.g., AP100/VPSS 3i) and brake simulation; SolidWorks/AutoCAD literacy.
Understanding of ISO 9001, APQP/PPAP basics, PFMEA/Control Plan linkage, and SPC triggers.
ERP traveler familiarity; strong Excel skills (lookups, QC calculators, basic SPC templates).
Responsibilities:
Generate, simulate, and release programs for EHRT/FlexPunch, Amada equipment per current print REV and traveler.
Apply DFM/DFA principles and busbar specifics such as plating and grain direction.
Define and document setup sheets including tools and clearances.
Perform first-piece verification against critical-to-quality metrics; capture learnings in standard libraries/templates.
Build nests to takt times while maximizing material yield; manage remnant capture and traceability.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour
