Actalent is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Programmer to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in machining and CNC programming who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines to support our production goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize CNC programs using Autodesk Fusion and MastercamCreate nesting programs for efficient material usageInterpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targetsRead and execute verbal and written instructions accuratelySupport mechanical assembly processes and equipment setupMaintain tooling and inventory controlEnsure compliance with safety standards and promote safe work habitsRequired Skills & QualificationsMinimum 5 years of machine shop experienceProficiency in CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, and machiningStrong understanding of mechanical assembly and industrial processesAbility to read technical drawings and interpret GD&TExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong judgment and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with controls and instrumentation, process improvement, and supply managementPreferred AttributesTeam-oriented with a collaborative mindsetReliable with strong attendance recordAbility to work independently and take initiativeComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentTop SkillsCNC ProgrammingCAD/CAM Software (Autodesk Fusion, Mastercam)Machining & Mechanical AssemblyProcess Optimization & Safety ComplianceJoin our client and be part of a team that values precision, innovation, and continuous improvement. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
