**Job Title: CNC Programmer** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team specializing in 3D printing, design, fabrication, machining, prototyping, and tooling for the Aerospace and Automotive industries. We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to contribute to our night shift operations. **Responsibilities** + Operate and write programs for 3- and 5-axis mills. + Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, and machining parameters; interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). + Program CNC machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculate requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; prove part programs. + Set up CNC machines by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicate vices; trim heads. + Load feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. + Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhere to international standards. + Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting operations; take measurements; detect malfunctions; troubleshoot processes; adjust and reprogram controls; sharpen and replace worn tools; adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes. **Essential Skills** + Programming and machining experience with 5+ years in CNC Mill programming, setup, and operation. + Ability to produce parts from blueprint/schematic from start to finish. + High precision experience with at least two years in Aerospace and six months in relevant industry experience. + Experience with Heidenhain, Fidia, and Fanuc Controls. + Proficiency in programming from scratch using any CAD/CAM software, including WorkNC, Tebis, and Mastercam. + Programming on the machine with Axis 3-4. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Haas Machine is a plus. **Why Work Here** Enjoy working in a gorgeous facility with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive wages. **Work Environment** Work the night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM with slight flexibility in hours.
