Enjoy a 9/80 schedule, robust benefits, and a workplace that values your time and expertise. We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with proficiency in Mastercam to join our machining team. This position is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs used in the milling of metal and plastic components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both programming and machining and will play a key role in ensuring efficient, high-quality production. **Key Responsibilities** + Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and design data to determine machining requirements + Develop complex 3D CNC programs using Mastercam for milling operations + Select appropriate cutting tools, define feeds and speeds, and determine machine reference points + Calculate angular and linear dimensions, radii, and machining paths for each part + Create detailed setup sheets and tooling lists for machine operators + Conduct trial runs and adjust programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency + Collaborate with tooling vendors to identify and acquire specialty tools for new programs + Design and fabricate simple fixtures and tooling as required + Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and process control + Maintain documentation in support of internal control requirements (SOX / 404), as applicable Position Requirements **Qualifications** + Experience using Mastercam level 3 programming skills (3-D programming) required + Minimum 5 years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment + Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and engineering drawings + Skilled in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) + Strong understanding of shop math, including trigonometry, tolerances, and conversions + High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred + Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting software a plus + Experience with high-speed machining and small batch production environments + Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, including synchronous or pull systems **Work Environment and Physical Requirements** + Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels + Position requires standing, walking, reaching, bending, and occasional lifting (up to 65 lbs) + Visual acuity required for close inspection and working with detailed parts and tools **This position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team focused on precision, efficiency, and innovation.
