Tessera Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Auburn, WA. In this role, you’ll develop and manage CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines to support the production of high-precision aerospace components. You’ll collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes, improve efficiency, and ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Create CAD/CAM databases, models, and CNC programs for complex aerospace partsSelect appropriate tooling and tool paths for efficient machiningAnalyze and verify dimensional results during prove-outs; correct discrepanciesSupport production teams with complex setups and machining operationsParticipate in new product development and provide input on manufacturabilityMaintain documentation for tooling, certifications, and inspection processesEnsure compliance with AS9100 standards and support audit readinessCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and reduce costsStay current with new technologies and integrate them into programming processesAdhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environmentQualifications:
Associate’s degree in manufacturing preferred 5-8 Years experience in aerospace or commercial manufacturingProficient in CAD/CAM software (CATIA or SolidWorks preferred)Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint readingExperience with 4- and 5-axis CNC machines and hard metalsKnowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and machining best practicesFamiliarity with English and Metric systems and conversionsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsPhysical Requirements:
