This position plays a critical role in programming complex machining centers using Siemens NX for CAM, with a focus on high-precision manufacturing of aerospace superalloys. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in multi-axis CNC programming and a strong understanding of tooling, setups, and process optimization. Responsibilities: * Develop and optimize CNC programs using Siemens NX for CAM to support lathes, mills, 5-axis mill-turn, and turn-mill machining centers. * Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to generate accurate and efficient toolpaths. * Identify appropriate tooling and fixturing strategies for complex aerospace components. * Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and improve cycle times. * Maintain and update CNC programs to reflect design or process changes. Core Qualifications: * Associate"s degree (or equivalent experience) in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field. * Minimum of 4 years CNC programming experience, including 3+ years using Siemens NX. * Proficiency in programming multi-axis CNC machines for machining aerospace-grade materials. * Strong understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and fixture design. * High attention to detail and ability to resolve machining challenges quickly. * Due to the nature of the work US Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card) required Preferred Qualifications & Skills: * Experience with probing macros using Renishaw or Siemens systems. * Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, and Okuma. * Skills in custom macro programming and adaptive machining strategies. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage projects, document changes, and work cross-functionally with engineering and production teams.
