**CNC Operator II/III - 1st Shift - $23.75/hr**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a CNC Operator, where you'll be responsible for operating CNC Haas Mills, Robo drills, and Fanuc controls. You'll engage in manual operations, such as drill press and deburring, and utilize electric drills for drilling and tapping products. This role requires experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with machine operation. You'll also use calibrated precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate CNC Haas Mills, Robo drills, and Fanuc controls.
+ Load parts and perform manual operations including drill press and deburring.
+ Use electric drills for drilling and tapping products.
+ Secure fixtures using wrenches and clamping systems.
+ Conduct precision measurements using tools like calipers, depth gages, and thread gages.
+ Perform simple setups with 5-6 tools, including edge finders and touch-offs.
+ Read and interpret engineer drawings, and perform setups independently or with guidance.
+ Run and inspect own jobs, filling out inspection sheets.
+ Ensure productivity and quality in a high-paced environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in CNC mill and vertical milling machine operations.
+ Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
+ Ability to perform simple setups and use precision measuring tools.
+ Experience with drill and tap operations.
+ Ability to read and write to follow instructions and complete paperwork.
+ One year of experience in machine operation with HAAS CNC or relevant experience.
+ Basic math skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

**Work Environment**
Work in a fast-paced production setting with a focus on productivity and quality. The role requires flexibility, with regular 50-hour work weeks and optional Saturday work. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $23.75/hr.
