CNC Machinist/Programmer responsible for advanced CNC machine setup, operation, and programming in a production environment.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Advanced understanding of CNC programming language
Solid understanding of machining practices
Experience with CNC machine setup and operation
Ability to select and set up appropriate tooling and fixtures
Ability to adjust tooling and work offsets
Experience troubleshooting and editing existing CNC programs
Preferred Skills:
Advanced manufacturing or machining training and/or certification
3+ years of manufacturing and machining experience
Experience with basic CNC program development
Experience using QMS, MAX, and SPC databases
Job Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines and execute advanced machine setup and programming tasks
Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures based on job requirements
Adjust tooling and work offsets to ensure accurate part production
Troubleshoot current CNC programs and perform significant program edits as needed
Develop basic CNC programs for new parts or processes
Utilize QMS, MAX, and SPC databases to monitor and document quality and process performance
Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
