Job Title: Senior CNC Machinist / Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer with a strong experience in HAAS controls, CNC mills and lathes, and CAD/CAM software. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in machining, programming, and part setup, with a particular focus on graphite machining and model interpretation.

Responsibilities

Program CNC machines using SolidWorks or Mastercam.Operate and set up HAAS CNC mills and lathes.Interpret and work from 3D models and technical drawings.Perform manual and automated machining tasks, including graphite machining.Set up parts accurately and efficiently for production runs.Maintain high standards of precision and quality.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.Ensure safe and clean working conditions.

Essential Skills

Minimum 10 years of CNC machining and programming experience.Proficient with HAAS CNC controls.Skilled in SolidWorks and/or Mastercam.Strong understanding of CNC mill and lathe operations.Experience machining graphite materials.Ability to read and interpret models and blueprints.Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Work in a neat yet small machine shop, where precision and quality are at the forefront of our operations. The first shift runs from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing a structured and predictable work schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ronkonkoma, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $87360.00/yr.
