CNC Operator $24/hour

Job Description

Join our dynamic CNC department as a CNC Operator, where you will play a crucial role in machining steel parts that contribute to the creation of our company's end products. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of these parts through meticulous quality checks and adjustments.

ResponsibilitiesWork in the CNC department to machine parts used for the end products.Load and unload steel parts from the machine.Create in-house parts for building end products.Conduct quality checks using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Follow work order and print instructions.Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments.Lead the department during night shifts in the future.Essential Skills3+ years of CNC operating experience.Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted.Ability to work unsupervised on the 3rd shift.Experience with hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Fanuc controls on a Haas vertical mill.Capability in set-ups and changeovers.Skill in tool changes and adjusting speeds and feeds.Ability to work 10-hour shifts, potentially 5 days per week.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a mid-sized manufacturing company with a cleaner environment and an older building style feel. Enjoy a 4-10's schedule. Training is provided on the day shift before transitioning to the night shift. Dress code is casual with no steel toe required, and you can enjoy your own music with one earbud while working.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hicksville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
