CNC Operator - 3rd Shift
**Job Title: CNC Operator - 3rd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in North Mankato. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and production schedules. + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. + Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues. + Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards. + Maintain accurate production records and adhere to company safety protocols. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or nine to eighteen months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Ability to read, write and understand work instructions. Ability to read English and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering prints and drawings as well as procedure manuals. + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. + Ability to read blueprints, routing sheets and test specifications. + Capable of consistently maintaining production rates and a high level of quality. + Ability to work with limited supervision and in a team environment and be self-motivated. + Basic understanding of ISO 9001. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Blueprint reading + Experience with lathe and machining + Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers + Experience in CNC operation and set up + Familiarity with machine shop environment and tooling **Why Work Here?** Join a team committed to safety and efficiency in a clean and well-lit work environment. Some stations may be louder than others due to the machines in that area. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Mankato, MN. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
