We are seeking a skilled and experienced mill-turn machinist for our machine shop located in Garden Grove, CA. The role involves setting up and operating CNC machines during the day shift, with a focus on ensuring precision and efficiency in aerospace, oil and gas, and medical device manufacturing.
ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate CNC Mill-Turn machines with live tooling, Y-axis, and sub-spindle operations.Program at the control (Fanuc/MAPPS) or read and adjust G-code.Lead setups and provide training to other team members.Work second shift or weekends as needed.Maintain attention to detail and ensure high-quality outputs.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in CNC Mill-Turn machine setup and operation.Proficiency in using blueprints and standard measuring equipment.Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills, including trigonometry.Ability to operate CNC machines efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsSome college or technical school work is preferred.Experience with aerospace, medical, or defense industries.Familiarity with NL/NZX or NT/NM series machines.Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.Why Work Here?Our company offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where employees can thrive and grow professionally. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
