Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for operating assigned machining equipment to support the manufacturing needs of the company. This includes conducting preventative maintenance and performing machine changeovers. The role is on the 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional work on Saturday mornings.
ResponsibilitiesPerform machining by studying work orders, blueprints, materials, specifications, and machining parameters.Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.Maintain specifications by observing and taking measurements, troubleshooting machines if any issues arise, and adjusting controls.Conduct preventative maintenance on machines.Ensure safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Contribute to organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Support a safety culture by following all safety rules, including reporting all incidents and near misses.Essential SkillsExperience with CNC milling and operation of 3-axis machines.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.Troubleshooting skills for CNC machines.Knowledge of machining and production processes.Work Environment
The facility is very clean but can be a little loud. It is warm in the summers and cold in the winters, although conditions are manageable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $33.00/hr.
