CNC Mill Lead Machinist
Job Title: CNC Mill Lead MachinistDIRECT PLACEMENT

ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and operate Mills and Lathe machines.Train CNC operators on machine offsets and tooling changes.Change the G&M code at the machine and program by hand.Operate and maintain lathes (HMC), adjusting feed and speed settings as required.Review instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.Take precise measurements for cutting and shaping.Plan the proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments successfully.Check output for quality assurance and document results.Identify needs and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs.Maintain a clean and safe workstation and environment.Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and requests as needed.Operate forklift and other machinery as required in a safe, responsible manner.Essential SkillsExperience with live tooling.Ability to perform full set-ups.Ability to edit G&M code at the machine.Willingness to train CNC operators.Ability to read blueprints.Ability to inspect own parts with micrometers and calipers.Additional Skills & QualificationsBlueprint interpretation.Manual machining.Fanuc programming.Experience with vertical mills and manual lathes.Proficiency with calipers and manual mills.Experience with Haas machines.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
