Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech **We are searching for the best talent for CNC Maintenance Technician II.** **Purpose:** + Support the preventative and predictive maintenance activities by carrying out effective maintenance routines and repairs to prolong the useful life of the equipment in designated Value Streams. Support the facilities team when required and liaison with contractor’s onsite. Give maximum availability and reliability to the site assets. Ensures appropriate records are maintained. + This position supports the Orthopedics platform within J&J MedTech in manufacturing of orthopedic implants used in knee, hip and shoulder joint arthroplasty. **You will be responsible for** **:** In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position: + Maintains manufacturing equipment which may include mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems. + Assists with the installation, setups, and changeovers of machinery. + Tests and adjusts as needed. + Makes routine repairs to malfunctioning equipment. + Assists in the implementation of process improvements. + Maintains a log of activities carried out on equipment i.e. actual hours works, spare parts used, equipment downtime etc using the site Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). + Assists with trouble report preparation for malfunctioning equipment. + Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Works with MRO and partner functions on to identify parts and supplies in accordance with department procedures. + Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level + Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable. + For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable + Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures + Performs other duties assigned as needed **Qualifications / Requirements:** Experience and education + Technical Certificate + Generally, Requires 3 Years Work Experience. + Preferred ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish across functions and both internally/externally Required knowledge, skills, abilities, certifications/licenses and affiliations Required + Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan + Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Website navigation required. + Able to work in an Clean Room environment requiring gowning. + Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to support cross functional teams including Quality, Operations & Engineering.
