Quality Control and Inspection:

Routinely inspect parts during the manufacturing process using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).

Maintain part dimensions within the required tolerances and finish specifications.

Document all work performed, including logging production counts, inspection results, and any deviations or adjustments made.

Maintenance and Safety:

Perform regular preventative maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and checking fluid levels.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues (e.g., tool breakage, chip buildup).

Adhere strictly to all safety policies, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures.

CAM Software Proficiency: Extensive experience using advanced Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software packages (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, GibbsCAM, Fusion 360) for generating toolpaths, simulating machining, and post-processing code.

Complex Programming: Ability to perform advanced G-code programming and editing, including writing complex sub-routines, macros, and utilizing coordinate system rotations.

CAD Literacy: Proficiency in reading, manipulating, and potentially designing parts using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD).
