At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery

Job DescriptionOperation of CNC Machinery – including lathes, machining centres and multi-axis machinesProduction of precision measuring equipment and toolingInspection of own work including first off and subsequent quality inspectionMaintaining quality and safety standards throughout productionMaintaining a clean, tidy and safe working areaObserving the company Health and Safety policyObserving the company Environmental policy

QualificationsExperience in using Fanuc & Siemens control system and the use of CMM equipment would be beneficialAbility to work to close tolerances, interpret engineering drawings and read CNC programmesFlexible approach to working hours and dutiesAbility to work on own initiative as well as part of a teamKnowledge of machines, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances and toolingExperience of working within a multifunctional engineering company.  Able to demonstrate initiative and strong organisational skills. Machining Apprenticeship & relevant experience
