CNC Machinist - Santee Location - 1st and 2nd Shift - up to $35/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to operate vertical and horizontal milling machine centers. The ideal candidate will perform in-process inspections, clean and maintain equipment, and communicate machine malfunctions effectively. This role also involves additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Operate vertical and horizontal milling machine centers and related tools and equipment.Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards.Clean and maintain equipment, and communicate any machine malfunctions.Carry out other duties as assigned or required.Set up and operate 3-axis mills, touch off tools, and check own parts.Collaborate with the lead machinist when making changes to the setup.

Essential Skills

Experience with calipers and micrometers.Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds.Must be a citizen of the USA or a legal resident alien.Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.Detail-oriented and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.Ability to multi-task and follow verbal as well as written instructions.Proficiency in reading blueprints and identifying tooling and hardware.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Understanding of keeping production on schedule to meet customer delivery dates.Adherence to Company Safety and Quality Management System policies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
