Job Description
The CNC Machinist will operate and manage CNC machines, ensuring precision in creating parts by working from blueprints and shop drawings. The role involves setting machine offsets, loading and unloading raw materials using equipment like jib cranes or hoists, and performing first-piece inspections using various measurement tools.
Shifts Available:
2nd shift Monday-Friday 2pm-10:20pm 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 10pm-8amPay Rate: $22.50/hour to start
Responsibilities
Work from blueprints and shop drawings to determine machine offset requirements for specific jobs.Load and unload machines with raw materials using jib cranes or hoists.Manipulate or change out programs on CNC machines prior to machining.Perform first-piece inspection of machined parts using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a brand new facility with state-of-the-art CNC machinery and a clean, organized shop following 5S principles. Employees are required to wear long pants and steel toe shoes, with safety glasses and uniforms provided. The role includes training on the first shift for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the designated shift.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
