CNC Machinist Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes according to digital files, drawings, or sample parts Program and run CNC equipment efficiently to meet production targets Operate multiple machines simultaneously to maximize throughput Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise Collaborate with maintenance and tool room teams to ensure equipment reliability Maintain high-quality standards and adherence to specifications CNC Machinist Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience programming and operating CNC machines Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam experience preferred) Experience with HAAS automation controls and Heidenhain controls is an asset Knowledge of conversational machine programming considered an advantage Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Commitment to producing quality work in a safe, team-oriented environment Employment Details: Full-time, Permanent Location: Newmarket, ON Schedule: Monday to Friday with flexible hours and staggered start times (weekends as needed) Compensation: Starting from $32.00/hour with overtime pay available Language: English requiredInterested in the CNC Machinist role?
