Job Description
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Vertical and Horizontal Mills, ensuring that each part is produced according to specifications. This role requires multitasking on various projects and utilizing hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precise measurement and arrangement of parts.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC equipment for production runs.Generate or troubleshoot CNC programs as needed.Inspect parts using measuring tools and adjust machines as required.Make tooling changes and modify tool geometry when necessary.Perform light machine maintenance, such as oiling and greasing.Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.Work independently while upholding company quality standards.Essential SkillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work with little or no supervision.Knowledge of G and M code.Experience with Mazatrol, Mastercam, or Fanuc controls is helpful.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Skilled in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.Previous experience with CNC and manual machinery.Ability to evaluate and resolve problems as they arise.Must be able to read and interpret Engineering drawings.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment includes a temperature-controlled facility with an on-site café. The position is available on the 2nd shift, from 3:30 pm to midnight, Monday to Friday. The facility emphasizes safety and teamwork and provides on-the-job training. Employees are expected to stand, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods and lift materials up to 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $66560.00/yr.
G.A.S. a program that reimburses employees for a portion of their commuting costs, with an emphasis on gas prices.
How it works: The reimbursement is calculated based on the difference between the cost of gasoline from the previous year and the current weekly average in Missouri, a 5-day workweek, and an employee's commute mileage.
