Cnc Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for machining component parts for mechanical tensioning tools in accordance with technical engineered drawings, operation sheets, specifications, and both written and verbal instructions. You will adhere to established company policies and procedures, measure machined parts to detect defects, adjust equipment, and monitor tool wear during machine operation as necessary. You are expected to be self-motivated, maintain a clean and safe work area, and actively participate in individual and company-wide continuous improvement activities and programs. You will openly communicate opportunities for improvement to company employees and management, monitor and document issues according to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS – ISO 9001:2015) to drive continuous improvement. **Responsibilities** + Machine component parts for mechanical tensioning tools. + Measure machined parts to detect defects and adjust equipment. + Monitor tool wear during machine operation. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Participate in continuous improvement activities and programs. + Openly communicate opportunities for improvement. + Monitor and document issues according to QMS standards. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of CNC Lathe experience. + 3+ years of blueprint reading experience. + 3+ years of CNC Mill experience. + Proficiency with reading and understanding technical drawings and documents. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Swiss lathe and milling experience preferred. + Analytical ability. + Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. + Adherence to safety programs and policies. + Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, and engineering drawings accurately. + Proficiency in using basic measurement equipment such as calipers and thread gages. + Experience in machine setup and operation. + Ability to confer with engineers, programmers, and production personnel to resolve machining concerns. + Capability to maintain precise manufacturing data in ERP systems. **Why Work Here?** We offer opportunities to develop and grow professionally in a supportive environment with genuinely great coworkers who want to see the company and each other succeed.
