**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, routing sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences. You will estimate requirements for time, tooling, and material to complete jobs, and prepare purchase requisitions for tooling and material using SAP system software. Additionally, you will design and fabricate fixtures as needed, program machines for manufacturing using CAD/CAM software, and ensure ISO compliance through proper documentation. **Responsibilities** + Set up jobs by loading control media in machine controllers or enter commands to retrieve preprogrammed instructions from the database. + Prepare and preset all necessary tools and enter commands or manually adjust machine controls to correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining. + Discuss control media errors with supervisors or programming personnel to resolve problems. + Operate, maintain, and monitor machine operations, including tool changing and slight adjustments to meet customer specifications. + Verify that fixture setups meet acceptable quality standards regarding turning, milling, and boring sizes, depths, angles, or other specifications. + Make minor adjustments to preprogrammed instructions to meet product requirements. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of CNC Milling Experience + 5+ years working on 5-axis CNC machinery + 5+ years of experience with blueprint reading, micrometer usage, and G&M Codes + Proficiency in CNC Programming **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with CAD/CAM CNC Programming + Experience in designing programs and providing estimated machining times and costs + Familiarity with FANUC, HAAS, and OKUMA controls + Training or experience with CAD/CAM software + Preferred experience with horizontal/vertical machining centers **Why Work Here?** This direct hire opportunity offers 2 weeks of vacation, 1 week of sick time, paid holidays, a 401k match, bonus opportunities, and attendance bonuses.
