CNC Machinist
**Job Title: CNC Machinist** Job Description This role involves setting up and operating CNC milling and lathe machines, utilizing Haas and other 3-5 axis machinery. The position requires machining high tolerance parts of various metals and plastics, conducting first article inspections, and performing periodic checks on production runs. You will be responsible for both short and long production runs as well as prototyping for custom projects, using machining blueprints and set up sheets to create precision parts. Responsibilities + Setup and operation of CNC milling/lathe machines. + Utilize Haas and other 3-5 axis machinery. + Machine high tolerance parts of various metals and plastics (.002-.005). + Conduct first article inspection and periodic checks on production runs. + Handle short and long production runs and prototyping for custom projects. + Follow machining blueprints and set up sheets to machine precision parts. Essential Skills + Machinist experience. + Proficiency in CNC setup and operation. + Familiarity with G&M Codes, CNC Mill, and CNC Lathe. + Experience with horizontal and vertical mills. + Mastercam proficiency. + Understanding of blueprints and precision measuring devices. + 3+ years in CNC machining, set up, and running machines. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience machining titanium, tungsten, and copper. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. + Prior experience using precision measuring devices and matching specs to blueprints. The atmosphere is collaborative, with a strong sense of community among staff. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.
