Our client, a leading distributor of high-performance engineering plastic shapes, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $25 – $29 per hour

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

What's the Job?

Set up, program, and operate CNC machines. Plan and perform machine operations using mills, lathes, routers, and/or saws to machine plastic or metal workpieces to specifications. Interpret complex drawings, program sheets, instructions, and process sheets. Monitor machine operations and detect malfunctions. Conduct inspections and gauging operations to ensure quality standards.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform diversified operations on CNC machines to close and interrelated tolerances. Experience in reviewing setup sheets and specifications to determine sequence and dimensions of finished workpieces. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
