PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of a supervisor and/or experienced machinist: + Produce quality parts on CNC machines, including but not limited to lathes and milling machines, in a timely, safe, and efficient manner + Operate CNC machines, perform setup changes, and conduct first article inspections on production runs + Load parts using overhead lifting equipment; prove tapes; operate controls; set offsets; perform simple program edits; deburr parts; and inspect finished items for quality conformance + Identify potential issues before production begins.
