We are hiring a **CNC** **Machinist** in Chicago IL. These are the details: **Job Details** · Location: Chicago IL · Pay: $28.00 (48.00) · Shift/Hours: 8-5pm Mon-Friday **Jobs Summary** The Machinist is responsible for programming, setting up and operating conventional, special purpose, and numerical control (NC) machines and machining centers to fabricate metallic components made from castings, forgings, and stamped steel materials. This is a Monday through Thursday day shift role with overtime sometimes required on a Friday and/or Saturday. The Machinist is expected to be able to program, read blueprints/CAD drawings, adjust offsets and change inserts, change out jobs with appropriate tooling, set-up and qualify first article parts. Supports the production requirements for all work cells. Prioritizes daily work based on Safety, Quality and Productivity requirements. **Requirements** Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and four years machinist experience; or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
