Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Ruislip, Middlesex
Salary: £15.00 – £18.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent and Temporary Available
Hours: 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 15:48)
Holidays: 25 days annual leave (January–December) + 8 Bank Holidays

Parkside Recruitment are looking for a CNC Machinist to our clients team in Ruislip.
Role Overview
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision-engineered components. You will ensure all parts are manufactured to engineering specifications, quality standards, and within defined timescales.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC turning machines (Mazak experience beneficial but not essential) Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments for accuracy and quality Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometres, and CMMs Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety standards Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve processes and production efficiency Adhere to production schedules and meet delivery deadlines Skills and Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in a CNC machining or similar precision engineering role (preferred) Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques Competency in reading engineering drawings and using measurement tools Familiarity with tooling setup and maintenance Knowledge of Mazatrol or other CNC programming languages is desirable Understanding of lean manufacturing principles Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 07:30 – 15:48 39 hours per week Includes a half-hour lunch break and two 15-minute tea breaks (morning and afternoon) Benefits
