Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate a Fadal CNC Mill, focusing primarily on machining aluminum components used in custom machine builds. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently from blueprints with minimal supervision.
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Fadal CNC milling machines.Machine aluminum parts to precise specifications.Interpret and work from engineering blueprints and technical drawings.Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the machining process.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of CNC milling experience.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.Experience with GibbsCAM programming is a major plus.Must have own basic machining tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Haas, Fanuc, Axis, Milling, and Programming.Experience with Mastercam and Tooling.Knowledge of GD&T and Mazak.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
We are a small manufacturing company with approximately 30 employees, including a team of 8 skilled machinists—4 of whom specialize in CNC operations. Our clean, climate-controlled shop fosters a collaborative and flexible work environment where quality and precision are top priorities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Alabama.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
