**CNC Machinist - 1st Shift - Pay up to $35/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who is proficient in setting up and changing tooling, with a strong understanding of Fanuc Controls. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience working with CNC machines, including horizontal, vertical, lathe, or EDM, and will be involved in making plastic injection and compression molds. **Responsibilities** + Perform setups and change tooling efficiently. + Prepare tooling orders for production. + Solve problems that arise during machining processes. + Enhance the knowledge of less experienced employees. + Collaborate with other supervisors and the Engineering supervisor. + Report to the Shop Supervisor. + Produce plastic injection and compression molds. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with CNC machines. + Proficiency in Custom Blueprint Reading. + Capability to set up machines independently. + Experience with CNC Lathe, Machinist, Mill, Lathe, Fanuc, setup, teardown, changeover, and tooling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Fanuc style controls on most machines. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees by offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 401K match. **Work Environment** Work in a dynamic machine shop specializing in custom mold manufacturing and precision machining services, with access to CMM inspection services. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KENT, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
