Now hiring a CNC Set-up Machinist in Middletown, PA

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Set-up Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with operating and setting up machines in a shop environment that consists of 4 vertical mills and 1 horizontal mill, all running on 3-Axis. You will be responsible for independently setting up machines and running parts, with a focus on quality checking your own work.

Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Pay Rate: $21-$32/hour based on experience

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines independently.Run parts and ensure quality by checking your work with precise measurement tools.Work with 3-Axis machines using Fanuc controls.Utilize shop math and G&D for accurate machining.Collaborate with the team for machine programming when required.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in setting up CNC machines.Experience with vertical and horizontal milling.Familiarity with Fanuc controls and CNC operations.Ability to use calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $32.00/hr.
