**Job Title: CNC Machinist 1st Shift** **Job Description** As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Vertical Turning Lathes. You will utilize programming skills to set up CNC equipment using the person or MasterCAM software. Your role includes inspecting and measuring parts to ensure they meet specifications using precision measuring equipment and performing all inspection functions as outlined in the work instructions. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathes. + Utilize programming to set up CNC equipment using the person or MasterCAM. + Inspect and measure parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring equipment. + Perform all inspection functions as required by work instructions. + Conduct machine set-ups and daily machine shop duties. **Essential Skills** + Experience with Lathe, the person, and the person lathe. + Proficiency with Fanuc, CNC, and Manual Lathe operations. + Experience with Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL). + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Proficiency in machining and programming. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Good mechanical aptitude. + Experience operating manual bars, manual milling, and manual lathes. + Knowledge of machining materials such as stainless steel, carbon steels, and/or cast iron. **Why Work Here?** Join an established employer known for offering market-leading benefits.
