Job Title: Zund Machine Operator

Job Description

As a Zund Machine Operator, you will be responsible for preparing and operating Zund digital cutting machines. This includes loading materials, setting tools, and verifying cut depths. You will use Zund Cut Queue software to retrieve and process digital cut files accurately. Additionally, you will ensure quality by monitoring cutting processes, performing quality checks, and making necessary adjustments to maintain precision and product standards. Maintaining equipment and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe work area are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

Prepare and operate Zund digital cutting machines.Load materials and set tools for machine operation.Verify cut depths and ensure accuracy.Retrieve and process digital cut files using Zund Cut Queue software.Monitor cutting processes and perform quality checks.Make adjustments as needed to ensure precision and product standards.Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness.Comply with safety protocols.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-3 years of basic CNC Operating experience.Willingness to receive on-site training for Zund machine.

Work Environment

These opportunities are available on 2 sites: Brooklyn and Westhampton Beach, NY. The Brooklyn site has openings for various shifts, including a third shift from Monday to Friday, and part-time shifts on Saturday and Sunday. The Westhampton location offers a second shift from Monday to Friday. The role requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, in a facility that values safety and cleanliness.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
