**Job Title: Lathe Machinist** **Job Description** Operate one or two Hardinge lathe machining centers to produce aerospace and medical parts. Ensure all parts meet tight tolerance specifications and perform necessary documentation for ISO audits. Conduct production runs typically ranging from 100-500 parts and perform changeovers between lathe machines. **Responsibilities** + Operate Hardinge lathe machining centers. + Inspect parts using basic inspection equipment. + Perform necessary documentation for ISO audits. + Conduct production runs of 100-500 parts. + Perform changeovers between lathe machines. + Monitor machine operations to ensure accurate measurements. **Essential Skills** + Technical degree and/or 2+ years of professional machining experience. + Previous experience operating CNC Lathe machines. + Ability to inspect own parts and read blueprints. + Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers. + Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Hardinge IIISP, 42SP, and Fanuc controls is a plus. + Ability to fully set up machines for production runs. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned machine shop known for its commitment to quality and employee development.
