Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – 1:1 School Aide Location: Lillington, NC Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 2:25 PM (Approx. 35 hours/week) Contract Length: Through the remainder of the school year (Last day: May 22, 2026) Start Date: ASAP (Target: January 20, 2026) About the Role Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide 1:1 support for a diabetic high school student. This position involves working under the supervision of the district school nurse or clinical designee to ensure the student’s health and safety throughout the school day. Flexibility is required in case the assigned student is absent, as you may be reassigned to other urgent needs within the school. Responsibilities + Provide direct care and support for a diabetic student. + Assist with health-related tasks as directed by the supervising nurse. + Offer classroom support and maintain a safe environment. + Communicate promptly with the recruiter if the student is absent or leaves early. + Comply with all district and professional standards. Minimum Requirements + Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (as required by state/contract). + Current CPR certification (if applicable). + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable). + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation). + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements. + Must be at least 18 years of age.
