Job Summary + Schedule: 7pm-7am, Part time + Department: Med Surg- Adult Acute Care + Location: Thomasville, North Carolina + Job Description:Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. + Unit Description: Thomasville Medical Center serves the general patient population hospitalized for various causes, such as illness, surgery, testing, or observation. Staff care for patients with a variety of diagnoses COPD, Diabetic, Stroke, Heart Failure, Surgical Patients Non-STEMI. 3rd Floor also accepts patients on drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone and Heparin. We are certified in COPD and stroke care. We have a very strong Mobility program on the unit as well as an infection prevention program. 35 Bed Acute Care Unit Remarkable Care. Remarkable Careers. Qualifications + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. + Experience: + One year of relevant experience, preferred. + Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required. + Licensure/Certification: + Completion of NAI program, required. + Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. + Medication Safety - AME, required. + NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. + Additional Skills Preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
