The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients. Position Overview: + CNA will observe inmates on acute and non-acute units + Inmates are on suicide watch; CNA must monitor, document activity, and notify security/medical of any needed interventions + Each CNA will observe 4–5 inmates at a time + Must remain attentive for the full 12-hour shift Experience & Requirements: + Minimum 1 year of CNA experience + Strong communication and reliability are essential + Experience in substance abuse or mental health settings preferred + Female unit requires Phlebotomy certification (assisting with lab draws) Staffing Needs: + 12 total CNAs needed + 8 male-unit CNAs (4 day shift, 4 night shift) + 4 female-unit CNAs (2 day shift, 2 night shift) Schedule: + Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:30 AM + Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday + Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday Assignment Details: + Duration: 13 weeks with potential extension + Pay Rate: $20/hour Please apply/reach out if interested!
