To be successful in this role, you will possess a dedicated spirit of service, strong communication skills, a meticulous approach to patient support, and an unwavering commitment to our mission of dignified, high-quality healthcare. **What you'll do...** + Provides basic nursing care within scope of practice and according to age specific needs. -bathing, hygiene, feeding, elimination needs, and patient activities. + Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and the skills necessary to provide age appropriate care. + Performs assigned nursing data collection and reports any irregularities to appropriate nursing personal in timely manner vital signs, weights, intake and output, and glucose readings. + Participates in implementation of care plan according to individual patient needs; distributes water glasses, meal trays and snacks in a timely manner, collects urine, stool, and sputum specimens following correct procedure. + Assists designated personnel with procedures, treatments or examinations as required. + Uses equipment properly and safely, reports malfunctions appropriately scales-infant, standing, chair, wheelchair, bed scale, B/P recording devices with pulse oximeters, tympanic thermometers, Hoyer lift, gait belt, restraints, lead application for telemetry unit. **Job Requirements** **Required** + Completion of Nurse Assistant Program. + Previous healthcare experience. + Certified Nursing Assistant issed by the state of North Dakota. + Basic Life Support - BLS, within 30 Days **Preferred** + Computer experience. **Where You'll Work** CHI Oakes Hospital, is a 20-bed critical access hospital that provides various inpatient and outpatient services to approximately 14,000 people in southeastern North Dakota. It is also a 24-Hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center. The hospital building was newly-constructed in 2007, replacing a 50-year old building, and in 2010, Oakes Community Clinic was opened within the hospital building.
