Summary: Seeking a Senior Portable Metrology Engineering Technologist to conduct laser inspections and generate dimensional reports for combat vehicle structures.

Requirements:

Experience with laser inspection and dimensional report generation. Familiarity with FARO Edge ARMS and Laser Tracking machines. Working knowledge of Polyworks software. Ability to interface with Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in a DOD manufacturing environment. Expert proficiency in Polyworks. Certification in ASME Y14.5. Responsibilities: Conduct laser inspections for fixtures and combat vehicle structures. Generate detailed reports for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality departments. Perform inspection tasks for new designs and design changes using laser data. Develop preventative action plans based on reviewed laser data.

Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
