What You will Do:

Set up and operate Zeiss CMMs to inspect parts according to engineering drawings and specificationsDevelop and optimize inspection programs using Zeiss software (e.g., Calypso) to measure parts accurately Analyze measurement data, generate CMM reports, and identify any deviations from the required tolerancesEnsure manufactured parts meet the quality standards and collaborate with manufacturing engineering and quality to address issues  Perform thorough inspections of prototype and production parts, ensuring they meet close tolerance and quality requirementsVerify assemblies and components for dimensional accuracyMaintain accurate records of inspection results, including creating and maintaining inspection reports. Ensure compliance with quality system procedures and documentation. Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiencyWork closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel

What You Will Bring:

Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or equivalent from a technical school preferred3-5 years of related experience in CMM Zeiss Calypso programmingUnderstanding of manufacturing principles and SPC process is a plusMeticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and documentation.Proficiency in setting up and operating Zeiss CMMs and experience with relevant software (Calypso)Ability to validate CMM programsStrong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)Experience with various measurement tools and techniquesAbility to analyze measurement data, identify trends, and interpret resultsAdditional duties as assigned by the customer

Pay Range:

$35.00/ hr - $40.00/ hr 

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

 

Work Requirements: This role is considered an on-site position located in Southwick, MA.

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

 Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
