 What You will Do:

Develop inspection strategy for high precision aerospace components to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.Create and modify CMM off-line program utilizing Polyworks.Output and edit output code to run automatically on requested CMM.Create setup and supporting documentation to adequately instruct factory personnel on the loading and execution of automated inspection programs.Organize and plan work effectively to produce output according to budget and schedule constraints.Troubleshoot programming result errors and work holding issues with production personnel to optimize automated inspection results.Modification and manipulation of 3D models.Management of CMM programming data in PLM software, Team Center.Interpreting and creation of drawings.

What You Will Bring:

5 years’ manufacturing experience in a technical capacity such as CMM/CNC programmer, manufacturing engineer, tool designer, process planner, etc.3 years CMM Programming Experience. Knowledge of Model based programming in PC-DMIS or equivalents. Polyworks preferred.Proficient reading and interpreting blueprintsProficient with GD&T both ASME Y14.5 1994 and ASME Y14.5 2009 requirements.Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with manufacturing engineering, precision inspection personnel and shop floor employees.Good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookPrevious experience using SharePoint 2010 and SAP a plusAbility to develop and present business correspondences requiredExperience working in ambiguous situations, such as taking action when all the information is not available, requiredStrong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment but can also be self-directed required 

Pay Range: $78K to $96K

 

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This position is classified as 100% Onsite in Troy, OH


Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.
