Join a dynamic machine shop specializing in aerospace, defense, medical, and commercial industries as a CMM Programmer. You will play a crucial role in ensuring product compliance and quality through comprehensive inspections and programming.
ResponsibilitiesPerform and record first article, in-process, and final part inspections.Utilize knowledge to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.Create and modify CMM programs using PC-DMIS software.Conduct precise dimensional inspections to ensure product compliance with specifications.Control non-conforming products per established procedures.Conform to AS9100 quality system requirements.Maintain product identification, traceability, and status.Follow QMS procedures and work instructions.Develop and maintain CMM programs.Evaluate blueprints and specifications to implement correct inspection criteria.Maintain probes and back-up probes.Clean and maintain CMM machines, attachments, and fixtures.Perform shop floor audits and report findings.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading and understanding blueprints.Experience with standard inspection equipment.Effective communication skills.3+ years of relevant experience with CMM programming.PC-DMIS for CMM 101 or equivalent.PC-DMIS for CMM 201 and CMM 202 scanning or equivalent.Minimum 1 year experience with Verisurf.Advanced comprehension of GD&T concepts.Experience with tight tolerances.Additional Skills & QualificationsSpanish language skills are a plus.Why Work Here

Work Environment
This position is based in a 50,000 sq/ft aerospace machine shop with over 50 CNC machines. The facility manufactures parts used in various industries, including military applications, jet fighters, missiles, commercial airplanes, helicopters, satellites, race cars, medical equipment, and water pumps. The role operates on a first shift schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
