What this position is about – Purpose

 

 

To ensure the efficient, timely, and cost-effective production and delivery of finished goods by overseeing production planning, material availability, quality assurance, and cross-functional coordination. This role drives operational excellence, supports new product initiatives, maintains compliance with internal standards, and fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet market demands and business objectives.

 

What will you do - Responsibilities:

 

Overall responsibility for ensuring that all the finished goods (FG) are produced promptly, of good quality and at an optimum cost. Prepare the production plan and follow it to meet the day-to-day output activities at the factory. Allocate all the resources effectively and make a quick decision to maintain the timely delivery of FG. Overall responsibility for the maintenance of correct levels of NTMs, flavors and tobacco materials. Ensure that the finished goods volumes are delivered timely to the market and prepare the inventory reports needed. Check and confirm the consumption of materials used by JTI’s manufacturing partner. Ensure you maintain accuracy in the MRP files and all the planning cycles. Support the implementation of all new product initiatives (NPD) in cooperation with the market, R&D and GSC. Ad hoc checks of material quality upon receipt (QA). Maintain a good relationship and excellent collaboration with the Lebanon market. Communicate effectively with all the stakeholders inside the factory, internally in JTI and externally. Close all the financial topics/tasks with all the stakeholders transparently and accurately, and be the business owner for PO/PR/GR. Ensure adherence to JTI quality standards by performing spot checks and ensuring compliance with SOPs. Ensure all safety protocols are followed and promote a culture of safety in the workplace. Assist with troubleshooting equipment or workflow issues on the floor and recommend a process improvement. Ensure timely submission of GSC KPIs, calculate the monthly efficiencies and figures and report them in GSC analytics. Prepare a realistic ASP plan. Take initiatives that reduce the cost, increase efficiency and reduce the waste.

 

Whom are we looking for – Requirements:

 

BSc or MSc in Technical Sciences, Technology, Organisational Sciences, or Business Administration. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage production planning and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Quick decision-making and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with JTI systems and tools, including SAP, IBP, PLM, Fiori, Coupa, ATAI, BW Reports, Power BI Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
