Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

\n\nAchieve agreed market-leading Transit Time, Data Quality, and Service Performance targets.\nManage the measurement, monitoring, and actions for improvement.\nImplement the Operations component of Annual Operating plans in tandem with the Regional strategies.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory and environmental obligations while leading initiatives to remove trade impediments.\nRoll out projects to address regional and network imperatives and programmes.\nDevelop initiatives and partnerships to ensure market-leading service relative to cost position.\nSupport business acquisition processes and provide after-sales support to achieve revenue and profitability targets.\nPerform management tasks with regard to budgetary targets, service/productivity levels, and cost controls.\nOversee Security practices to ensure policies and business needs are met.\nDetermine organization structure, roles, responsibilities, and performance targets for the function.\nDevelop a culture of quality, service excellence, flexibility, and cost consciousness.\nIdentify training needs and opportunities for team development.\nRequirements

Experience:

\n\n13+ years of experience in a service-related role, preferably in the Logistics Industry.\n7 years of experience in a supervisory/management role (preferable).\nExperience in implementing change and understanding the local regulatory environment.\n\n

Qualification: Degree (or equivalent).
