The role aims to be recognized as a trusted finance team member. This role supports the finance lead in all training and development activities to develop best-in-class finance professionals and assists in developing their finance team. This role supports a robust control and compliance environment and contributes to implement EMEA Operations Finance innovations and projects.

As a general accountant we rely on you to:

Carry out all assigned finance processes & tasks accurately, timely, reliably and with a high level of trustworthiness and integrityAssist in resolving outstanding balancesAssist in receiving and consolidating all cash and preparing for bank depositsProcess outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresPerform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable dataReconcile finance balance sheetsVerify and investigate discrepanciesGenerate reports detailing accounts payables statusUnderstand expense accounts and cost centersEnsure compliance with internal control procedures and financial policies

What are we looking for?

Extensive knowledge in Microsoft ExcelAccounting qualificationKnowledge of accounting principlesPrevious experience in accounting roleSimilar experience in hospitality and SUN system knowledge is an advantage
