As the F&B PR Manager, builds strong relationships with media, influencers, and key market players to position the outlets as premier dining and social destinations. Ensures consistent and effective communication of F&B offerings to the public, aligning with brand standards and business objectives. Implements targeted media and community relations programs that generate buzz, increase visibility, and directly contribute to outlet revenue. Provides proactive and reactive PR support, including messaging, brand storytelling, and reputation management related to F&B operations. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in public relations, communications, or related professional area. OR • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, or related major; no experience required. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES Building Brand and Property Awareness to Drive Revenue • Works collaboratively with local, regional, and national media partners to build awareness and increase exposure for the hotel’s restaurants and bars. • Actively solicits new media outlets, food and lifestyle journalists, influencers, and digital content creators to generate ongoing publicity. • Selects the most impactful PR and media opportunities based on market trends, outlet positioning, and overall business needs. • Applies creative storytelling and selling techniques to secure high-visibility coverage and partnerships that elevate F&B outlet profiles. • Increases awareness within the food, beverage, and lifestyle media community by organizing targeted events, previews, and collaborations to drive revenue and foot traffic. • Supports the hotel’s F&B social media strategy by contributing PR-driven content, leveraging influencer collaborations, and amplifying media coverage. • Works closely with online media platforms and blogs to promote the hotel’s dining experiences, signature events, and promotions. • Ensures consistent messaging and brand voice for all F&B public relations and communications across media, influencer, and digital channels Building Successful Relationships • Builds and strengthens relationships with local food writers, lifestyle media, influencers, and digital content creators to ensure consistent exposure of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. • Develops strong ties within the local market, including event organizers, social circles, and community groups, to expand the guest base and generate new revenue opportunities for F&B outlets. • Conducts regular outreach and engagement with media and influencer contacts to maintain awareness and momentum around F&B offerings, seasonal promotions, and signature experiences. • Identifies and leverages communication and distribution channels—such as local platforms, hospitality blogs, and food-focused publications—that can drive last-minute bookings and increase outlet traffic. • Provides marketing and digital teams with creative content ideas, stories, and experiences to support strong public relations messaging for each F&B venue. • Partners with F&B and marketing leadership to develop and support promotions and campaigns aligned with outlet strategies, driving visibility, engagement, and revenue. Coordinating Communication Efforts • Provides accurate, engaging, and brand-aligned communication to visiting journalists, influencers, and media professionals covering food and beverage experiences. • Evaluates and identifies new public relations opportunities specifically aimed at increasing visibility and revenue for the hotel’s F&B outlets. • Develops and executes a strategic F&B public relations plan that supports local, group, and leisure audience engagement, with a focus on outlet traffic and dining experiences. • Assists in organizing and hosting individual and group media visits, influencer tastings, and curated F&B events to showcase the property’s culinary offerings. • Coordinates community involvement and local partnership activities that enhance the public image of the hotel and its dining venues. • Supports the development of creative F&B content and collateral, ensuring alignment with corporate brand standards, tone of voice, and legal compliance. • Assists in drafting and distributing F&B-related press releases, editorial content, and stories across print, digital, and social media platforms to generate coverage and drive awareness. Providing Exceptional Customer Service • Sets a positive example for guest relations. • Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels; effectively responds to and handles guest problems and complaints. • Observes service behaviors of employees and provides feedback to individuals and/or managers; continuously strives to improve service performance. • Conducts site inspections with visiting journalists and food bloggers. • Be present on the venues over the weekend operations and/or Public Holidays.
