As a Cluster E-commerce Executive at Hilton Malta, you will be a key driver of the hotel’s digital revenue growth, focusing on optimising online sales channels, enhancing the online guest journey, and executing data-driven digital strategies that align with Hilton’s global standards. You will collaborate with marketing, revenue management, reservations, and IT teams to maximise performance across Hilton’s direct and third-party distribution channels.
This role blends commercial strategy, digital marketing excellence, customer experience optimisation, and cutting-edge technology adoption to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Channel & Revenue Management
· Manage and optimise online booking channels — hotel website, Hilton Honors mobile app, OTAs (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia), and metasearch platforms.
· Ensure rate parity, up-to-date inventory, and competitive visibility across all digital channels.
· Monitor and analyse performance metrics (bookings, conversion rates, revenue per available room) to identify upsell & cross-sell opportunities.
2. E-commerce Strategy & Best-in-Class Execution
· Support development and execution of the hotel’s e-commerce strategy, aligned with Hilton’s commercial objectives and brand standards.
· Collaborate with Revenue Management to influence pricing, forecasting and demand generation initiatives.
· Contribute to digital transformation efforts using AI-assisted tools for search optimisation, personalisation and campaign automation, staying ahead of industry trends.
3. Website, UX & CRO Optimisation
· Maintain and update the Hilton Malta website content, promotions, and UX elements (including mobile optimisation) to improve conversion.
· Implement Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) tactics using A/B testing, customer behaviour insights and analytics.
· Partner with IT/technical teams to troubleshoot booking path friction, improve performance and support technology upgrades.
4. Digital Marketing Integration
· Coordinate with digital marketing on SEO, SEM, paid campaigns and email marketing to drive qualified traffic.
· Collaborate on CRM-driven lifecycle campaigns, customer segmentation and loyalty marketing (e.g., Hilton Honors targeted offers).
· Support campaigns that enhance brand visibility, guest engagement and direct booking share.
5. Analytics, Reporting & Insight Generation
· Monitor, interpret and report key performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics 4, hotel PMS reports, CRM platforms.
· Generate regular performance dashboards and actionable recommendations for leadership.
· Benchmark digital performance against competitive set and market trends.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation
· Work with marketing, revenue, reservations, guest services, IT and external partners (agencies/tech vendors).
· Recommend and test new digital tools, emerging tech (e.g., AI, automation) and e-commerce practices that can raise competitive advantage.
· Participate in Hilton’s internal trainings and global digital rollouts.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business, Hospitality or related field.
· 2+ years experience in e-commerce, digital marketing or revenue-driving roles — ideally in hospitality/tourism.
Technical Skills
· Strong digital analytics proficiency (GA4, reporting).
· Familiarity with PMS/CRS, CMS tools, CRO best practices and digital marketing platforms.
· Experience with SEO/SEM, metasearch and OTA merchandising fundamentals.
