The Cluster Director of Sales Marketing is accountable for developing and executing the commercial strategy for two of Hyatt’s iconic properties in Seminyak: Alila Seminyak and Kleo Seminyak JdV by Hyatt. This key leadership role will oversee all proactive and reactive sales and marketing efforts across both properties, with a strong focus on driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and elevating brand positioning. The role provides strategic direction and hands-on leadership to the sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and accountability for achieving booking and revenue targets, implements the brand’s service strategy and relevant brand initiatives across all areas of sales and marketing, with a strong focus on cultivating long-term, value-driven customer relationships that support the achievement of the hotels’ commercial objectives. KEY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the development and implementation of an integrated commercial strategy encompassing corporate, leisure, group, events, and digital sales channels to maximize revenue and market penetration.Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and economic indicators to adjust sales tactics and capitalize on emerging opportunities.Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies, inventory allocation, and distribution mix.Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting to ensure targets for occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR) are met or exceeded.Direct all proactive and reactive sales efforts, including key account management, client acquisition, contract negotiations, and proposal development.Drive brand awareness and demand generation through targeted marketing campaigns, public relations activities, partnerships, and luxury consortia engagement.Partner with Regional Marketing Communications to ensure consistency and effectiveness of brand messaging and promotional initiatives.Implement Hyatt’s brand standards and service philosophies across all sales and marketing activities to maintain luxury positioning and guest satisfaction.Provide inspirational leadership, coaching, and performance management for the sales and marketing teams at both properties.Build a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on professional development, accountability, and innovation.Work with Human Resources to recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier talent aligned with business growth and succession planning needs.Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, revenue management, operations, and other departments to optimize commercial outcomes.Serve as the primary point of contact for key corporate clients, partners, and external stakeholders including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event organizers.Represent the properties in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and business development.Act as the brand ambassador, ensuring all client interactions reflect Hyatt’s commitment to excellence and personalized service.SUMMARY:
