Scope and General Purpose of Job:

Develops, implements, monitors and evaluates the hotel’s marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, public relations, graphics and collateral, so as to support the marketing objectives for the hotel and maximise the hotel’s positive exposure in local, national and international markets

Position Duties / Essential Functions:

Digital Marketing

· Responsible for the creation of content for hotel digital activities including: the property’s websites; social media; EDM; third party listings; and other digital channels, ensuring content is up to date, in line with the schedule and business needs

· Serves as the primary point of contact for all hotel related questions and activities

· Supports the digital marketing team by providing hotel specific information, assets and content for all digital channels as necessary, ensuring content aligns with the Hyatt brand and hotel identity, positioning and messaging

· Responsible for the scheduled production of electronic direct mails (EDM) to target audiences including: content creation, EDM deployment, database management maintenance and performance reporting for all email marketing campaigns as per the marketing communications plan

· Supports local marketing activities and develops relationships with relevant third parties to deliver the business objectives for the resort's restaurants, bars and spa

· Maintains hotel media kit, marketing materials and photo library and ensures timely distribution to all media, clients, colleagues and guests as required

· Responds to all guest reviews on 3rd party listings such as TripAdvisor, Google My Business and OTA’s as directed by hotel management.

Social Media Management :

Working in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager/Director, createscompelling social media content calendarsforchannels such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Wechat, Weibo, Twitter and so on. Gainsapproval, schedules and publishesResponsible for monitoring of all social media channel comments, messages, tagged posts etc and for producing the monthly performance report using approved analytics tools within mutually agreed deadlines.

Content Management:

§ Working in partnership with the Digital Marketing Manager, manages and maintains content on: hotel websites, Tripadvisor, OTA’s, holidaycheck, metasearch engines, and other relevant sites to ensure the right content and pictures are displayed.

§ Provides detailed brief to external copywriter and translator for content creation as required

§ Ensures content on brand and independent websites is refreshed, managed and maintained seamlessly in all required languages, as guided by the management and business needs.

Media / Influencer / KOL Marketing :

Works with the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure maximum exposure is obtained for the resort and all facilities, outlets, activities, functions, promotions and programs etcDevelops and maintains active contacts with influencers/media/KOL’s and evaluates all media solicitations and opportunities for the hotel in line with marketing strategy and advertising needsObtains initial approval of influencer/media/KOL campaign proposals from the Director of Sales and Marketing and General Manager

Coordinates and handles all media accommodation requests and is responsible for the internal arrangements for media, influencers, bloggers and KOL’s on assignment at the hotel

Monitors all current sentiment and public statements concerning the hotel in online channels and foreign and local mediaAssists in supervising the compilation of digital clippings for circulation on digital and social media channels. After circulation, shares with all heads of department and files accordingly

Answers all press inquiries, ensuring only relevant and accurate information isreleased to the press.

Photography / Videography:

Responsible for managing all onsite and destination photography and videography assignments under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Marketing

Coordinates and makes arrangement for photography of new department Heads or Leadership Committee members for press releases purposes.

Hotel Advertising and Collateral:

In partnership with the Marketing Communications Executive uses written and presentation skills to assist with the creation of a wide range of resort collateral, communications and promotional materialsEnsures all hotel advertising and collateral are of consistent high standards, and that they comply with Hyatt International’s brand standards. (i.e. FB newsletters, promotional flyers and posters, photography of food and festive shots etc).
