Cluster Commercial Manager

The  Cluster Commercial Manager will work with the Commercial Director whilst shouldering responsibility for all business development activities for Hilton Northern Territory Cluster hotels. This role will assist with the planning and execution of the commercial strategy and activity through supporting the Revenue management team, Sales, Catering and Events, Marketing, eCommerce and Public Relations teams, through working effectively with area support teams. The Cluster Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving commercial strategies covering all segments and channels to maximize total revenue and profit performance as well as market share penetration of the hotel.

This position will be the key business partner to the Commercial Director for all revenue decision making and require exceptional stakeholder management.

\n

Duties:

\n\nDeveloping and executing commercial strategies along with the Cluster Commercial Director covering all segments and channels to maximise total revenue and profit performance as well as market share penetration.\nSupport  RMCC to establish an optimal mix, review and validate forecasts, develop strategies for different demand periods, and review and approve retail and group pricing strategies.\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, owners, hotel teams, Hilton Sales team, and CDT team.\nProvide accurate, monthly reports on sales leads and revenue for collation with the monthly reports for the Cluster Commercial Manager/RMCC.\nAssisting in developing the hotel's annual/quarterly/monthly budget forecast and work plans, implementing them effectively.\nProduces the annual Revenue Plan, S&M budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the Cluster Commercial Director and the Hotel Team.\nDevelop key account management which increases Hilton’s market power and closer matches the way customers choose to buy for CORP, Leisure and MICE.\nDevelop the right Account Plans to repurpose teams to ensure that sales resources are mobilised to drive market share from Key Accounts with the highest potential.\nEnsure that measurement systems are in place to track the production of all targeted accounts.\nOn an annual basis identify the key retention and acquisition accounts for each salesperson.\nActively seek out new sources of business.\nDevelop and manage appropriate travel manager/booker programs.\nOutbound Sales - Promotes business for other Hilton Hotels.\nMeet agreed targets on room nights/C&C Revenue.\nEncourage the movement of sales revenue, events and marketing people around the department and between Hilton hotels.\nEnsure that effective processes are in place for the recruitment, induction, training and development of all customers facing sales, marketing and revenue management people in the hotel.\nSpot talent within the team and develop them for future increased responsibility.\nEncourage the movement of sales revenue, events and marketing people around the department and between Hilton hotels.\nIn conjunction with the Marketing team establish hotel positioning documentation for the hotel that include:\n\nIn-depth SWOT Analysis\nKey Messages \nEstablishment of Advertising and promotions action plan and budget\nProposal and implementation of local and regional advertisement campaigns\nOrganises and attends major PR related functions within the hotel\n\n\n

Skills & Experience

\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity with international chain hotels\nExcellent communication, organisational and presentation skills\nAble to work under pressure \nAn innovative self-starter with high motivation\n\n
